Traveling is something I've always enjoyed. Seeing new places and try new things makes it exciting and unpredictable. I've been to South America, Asia, and Europe.
Sailing in Mexico
(Fall of 2008)
|
Julie, David, Roger, my dad, and I drove down to La Paz and went sailing for 4 weeks and spent 1 week at my parents house in Mexico. When sailing, we went north around a bunch of islands with names like Santa Cruz, San Francisco, San Jose, etc... and then shot over to the other side. Once we got to the other side, it was humid, foggy and the worst weather I've seen in Mexico. We shot back over to the "good" side after only a couple days. We ate and wide assortment of sea life, including clams, scallops, sting ray, manta ray, and a bunch of different fish. I got to go diving and actually brought back a few different kinds of fish and a few scallops.

England and Scotland
(September 17-29, 2008)
|
My most recent trip out of North America was to England and Scotland for a short time there with my dad and Dustin. The first few days were spent and the Heathrow high-end audio show and traveling around London area visiting audio dealers with our distributor. Unfortunately when were were there the USD was weak so everything was ridiculously expensive. It's just amazing how small England is. We drove from the southeast corner to the northwest corner of England all after dinner. We went up to Scotland for a short while, but unfortunately left our camera battery and charger at the hotel so we don't have any pictures :( In Scotland we had haggis and chips. My dad un Dustin were fans of haggis, but I was not of the same opinion. It was a great trip and I enjoyed my bangers and mash and jelly babies.

China and Hong Kong
(March 9-19, 2008)
|
Spending just a short 10 days in China, I spent it traveling over 1800 miles within China traveling via busses, trains, a very short plane trip (same distance as my buss trip), and a ferry. While there I traveled around a city with a local student, visited a granite factory, a electronics factory, the Hubei Provincial Museum in Wuhan, and a Maserati and Ferrari a block apart in Hangzhou. I must say, China changed allot since I was there last in 2001.

Sailing in Mexico
(Summer of 2007)
|
I spent two months with my father, David, Daniel, and Roger sailing down to the Sea of Cortez. Unlike most cruisers, we didn't use our iron sail (motor) the entire way from Santa Cruz to the Sea of Cortez.

Chile and Argentina
(January 22 to March 17, 2003)
|
I spent from January 22 to March 17th 2003 in Chile with a short visit to Argentina.Dad, Julie, Rebecca, Daniel, and I went down to Chile as a short-term missions project. We worked on two building projects. A larger building project with many different teams and teacher housing up in the mountains with just my family. We were going to zip over to Argentina for the day, but ended up spending two days there (unintentionally).

Hong Kong, China, Korea, and Japan
(September 19 to October 9, 2001)
|
I went to asia from September 19 till October 9, 2001. We spent the time visiting our audio dealer in Hong Kong, South Korea, and Japan. In China, we went looking at different bamboo gardens and bamboo product factories. Visiting Europe was one thing, but China was asia was amazing. The food was great, the culture totally different from ours, and incredibly interesting.
